Rebirthing Breathwork and Pranayama in Brunswick Heads, Byron Bay and Online in Australia

Who I Work With

I work with a range of clients, including those curious about the power and vitality of breathwork and breathing techniques, as well as individuals experiencing breathing dysregulation or nervous system-related conditions such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, or a history of trauma.

I teach breath sessions to individuals and occasionally for groups, either in-person in the Byron Bay region or surrounds, and at events Australia wide. I have also taught at events, retreats, festivals and my clinic space in Brunswick Heads.

What is Rebirthing Breathwork?

Rebirthing Breathwork, developed by Leonard Orr in the 1970s and continued by his wife Elvi Orr, is a conscious-connected breathing practice that merges relaxed inhales and exhales. This approach supports a deep connection between mind, body, and spirit, creating space for insight, release, and integration.

My Approach

I completed my training as a Rebirthing Breathwork practitioner and have guided both individuals and groups in this practice. With a trauma-educated and nervous system-informed perspective, I’ve adapted the practice to be gentle on the nervous system while still providing a powerful, transformative experience. Sessions are guided to support your own process, allowing your body, breath, and nervous system to lead the way.

Pranayama Byron

Private sessions available in-person in Brunswick Heads (Byron Bay region) and Online.

What is pranayama?

Pranayama is the yogic practice of conscious breathing, a fundamental tool for supporting health, vitality, and overall wellbeing. Breath influences the nervous system and our pranic energy body, supporting energy flow, regulation and inner balance.

My Approach

I am trained in both beginner and advanced pranayama techniques, using a krama (progression-based) approach. Just as with yoga asana, we start with foundational practices before progressing to advanced techniques, ensuring the breath is experienced safely and effectively.

With training in yoga therapy and continued study with advanced Iyengar pranayama teachers, sessions are designed to support you in accessing your own regulation, energy, and inner awareness. The focus is on your process—building confidence, connection, and control over your breath at a pace that suits you.
