Byron Bay | Mullumbimby | Brunswick Heads | Northern Rivers | Online Hello and thank you for finding my website. My name is Pam Kirkley, aka Flow With Pam and I'm a body-mind therapist. My passion is providing high quality holistic support for the treatment of mental health, physical health conditions, chronic illness conditions, and trauma including attachment and developmental trauma. I'm a mental health clinician, accredited social worker, certified Somatic Experiencing® practitioner (SEP), certified yoga therapist and breathwork teacher. I practice in Northern New South Wales (NNSW) in the Byronshire, covering Byron Bay, Mullumbimby and Brunswick Heads. I see clients at a clinic space in Brunswick Heads and I also see clients online across Australia, including online supervision of social workers. For 18 years, I have worked with adults, children, and families, supporting a wide range of needs, including mental health, trauma, family violence, abuse and neglect, illness, disability, and complex family dynamics. My work is my passion, and I am committed to continually developing my skills to provide the best quality service I can. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Clinical Psychology (2005), an MSc in Social Work (2013), and a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner Certificate (2024). My qualifications are complemented by 990 hours of advanced training in therapeutic modalities, including a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate (2021), Yin Yoga Teacher Training Certificate (2021), Rebirthing Breathwork Certificate (2021), and a Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy (2022). As an accredited social worker registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), I have completed post-graduate studies in mental health-focused psychological strategies. I am finalising a Graduate Certificate in Gestalt Psychotherapy, which will be completed by December 2025. I support clients with the following experiences and needs: Anxiety Depression Trauma and PTSD Physical and chronic health conditions Mobility challenges With a body-mind-spirit-Earth approach to therapy, I have studied the following modalities and practices to bring to therapeutic sessions: Somatic Experiencing® Gestalt Psychotherapy Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Dialectial Behaviour Therapy (DBT) - distress tolerance skills Solution-Focussed Therapy Counselling Positive Psychology Yoga Therapy Breathwork Pranayama Ecotherapy These modalities can be integrated flexibly into sessions, or they can be requested separately. I'm an NDIS provider and I see clients for a range of psychosocial disabilities, including chronic illness, syndromes, disease, mental health needs, mobility issues, nervous system disorders and trauma including developmental and attachment-based trauma. I offer social work supervision and professional coaching. I have social work leadership experience having previously supervised multi-disciplinary teams of social workers, clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists, counsellors and mental health occupational therapists. I have formally been the team leader of family violence teams, a family services team and clinical lead at headspace youth mental health service. I am currently available for social work supervision.
